WCV EXPERT TIP When adding extra crossbars to an existing roof rack that is already mounted to your van, it can sometimes be tight to drop new hardware into the side channels. Pro Tip: Don't tighten down the mounting bolts on the new bars until both bars are completely slotted in and positioned. Leave the flanged button-head screws slightly loose so you can slide the bars smoothly down the rails into their final positions, then torque everything down to spec.
